There are various types of mushrooms in all around the world. Most common type that we can easily find in our supermarkets is oyster mushroom. We can temper, fry or cook these mushrooms the way you like. The recipe that we are going to share with you today can be easily served at a party or with whatever the rice dish that you make at your Lunch or Dinner. This is a simple recipe yet it takes a little bit more time in frying the mushrooms. Let’s see how we can make this crispy mushrooms dish.
- 1 packet of fresh mushrooms
- 3-4 large red onions
- few spring onion leaves
- Red Chilli flakes
- Salt to taste
- A little bit of Sugar
- Soy Sauce
- Ginger garlic paste
For the Batter:
- Rice Flour
- All-purpose Flour
- Corn Starch
- Salt to taste
Tear the mushrooms into large pieces, wash and drain until it’s ready to be deep fried. You have to completely drain the mushrooms otherwise it’ll be soggy once and only cook during the deep frying stage.
In a bowl, combine flour mixture ingredients with salt and turmeric and add water to make it into a thick paste.
Dip the mushrooms in the batter and deep fry them until golden brown
Wash and rinse the spring onion leaves and cut them into large pieces. Cut the Onions into large chunks and keep both aside
In a large pan, heat the oil and add the ginger garlic paste. Gradually add chili flakes, salt, soy sauce, and sugar and stir it for a minute. Add the onion chunks and mushrooms to the pan and mix them well. Finally, add the spring onion leaves and turn off the heat.
Serve Immediately to taste the crispiness of the mushrooms.
