Masala wade is a well popular indian dish which is similarly popular in Sri Lanka. With only a few ingredients this can be prepared very easily.
- 250g of Gram Dhal
- 1large onion
- 2-3 green chilli
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Soak the Dal for 2-3 hours or overnight. Once it’s tender, grind it into a smooth paste. According to your preference you can keep the consistency.
To this grinded paste add Finely chopped onion, green chili and the rice flour. Add some salt to taste.
Heat a large pan and add oil. Once the oil is well heated add small balls of the prepared paste and fry until golden brown in color.
Serve hot with some chutney for a better taste.
