Mini-Quiche

Quiche is a French dish which has been originated from Germany. This considered as a savory pastry item which uses pastry crust to make the dish. Any of your favorite fillings can be used to make it more personalized according to your taste. The dish is very much popular in many countries worldwide. Mainly we can have it as Breakfast/Brunch or as a Dinner.

Let’s see how we can easily make the quiches with lesser ingredients and less preparation time.

Ingredients:

  • Store Bought Pie Crust
  • Potatoes (Boiled)
  • Spinach
  • Sausage
  • Onions
  • Eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Grated Cheese
  • Muffin Tray

Preparation:

Step 1

Roll the store-bought pie crust into a thin layer and cut them into small round size shapes. Grease the muffin tray with some oil/butter and place the dough into the muffin tins. Bake them for 10 mins. We need to bake the pie crust to make it firm before adding the egg mixture. Otherwise, it will be soggy and lesser in taste.

Step 2

Mix Eggs, Salt and pepper and pour it in the baked Pie Cups. Add sliced boiled potatoes, chopped Spinach, Chopped Sausage, Chopped Onions and add some cheese on top. You can sprinkle some oregano powder (This is optional) to enhance the taste. You can add Oregano/Thyme or whatever the herbs that you use to enhance the flavor of the dish.

Step 3

Bake the mini quiches for about 15-20 mins and server hot with some chili or tomato sauce. You can make a sauce with Mayo and ketchup like we did in the crunchy cucumber and potato salad video. Check out the link for that recipe for more information.
